Pain Management by Steve Waldman

Handbook of C-Arm Fluoroscopy Guided Spinal Injections

A basic atlas of all the common pain procedures. Images are good but are too few to completely understand how to perform the procedure. A great reference that should be part of your pain library.

Great images! Limited to spine procedures. Even tells you how to dictate the procedure notes. A must have for fellows.

Written by a member of our educational advisory committee, Edgar Ross, MD, of Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School..

Good review for pain boards and as a quick reference. Bullet information for quick review. A must have for all residents and fellows interested in pain medicine.
Excellent reference in regards to all drugs commonly used by pain physicians. Covers both the basic science and clinical applications of drugs in separate chapters.
The most comprehensive book regarding interventional techniques yet available.

Good introduction to pain management. Would recommend to residents rotating on the pain service. Probably too basic for fellows or practitioners. But overall a good "just starting out" book for pain.

Useful handbook for carrying in the coat pocket. Not to be used as guide to learn procedures though. Good review of most medications.

Good reference for practioners at any level. Loaded with clinically applicable information. Comprehensive section on interventional techniques. Good illustrations of of peripheral joint injections. Pain practice management and legal issues also discussed.
A must have for all pain physicians from the father of pain medicine himself.
